About Susan

I am passionate about helping families begin estate and wealth-transfer planning early, particularly families who may not yet see themselves as having enough wealth to need a plan. Once a family has assets, children, or other heirs, even a modest estate can benefit from thoughtful planning.

My professional background spans charitable gift administration, accounting, family office operations, and wealth management, with a particular interest in the intersection of wealth transfer, philanthropy, and family financial stewardship. I believe estate planning should be understandable and accessible, not something families postpone until they have accumulated significant wealth or reached a certain stage of life.

My experience also includes serving as the administrator of my father’s estate and as trustee of a family property in California, giving me firsthand perspective on the responsibilities and decisions families face when managing and transferring assets.

I hold an MBA in Information Technology Management, the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) credential, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. My goal is to help families identify their priorities early, understand their options, and build practical plans that can evolve as their assets, families, and goals change.
