About Matthew
Matt McClure is a Senior Financial Advisor with Active Wealth Management in Atlanta, GA. He is also the host of his own podcast, Take Pride in Retirement. As a licensed fiduciary financial advisor, Matt’s goal is to help listeners and clients create the retirement they have always dreamed of. An award-winning journalist, host and performer, he has more than 20 years’ experience in TV and radio.
Matt currently lives with his husband and two dogs in his home state of Georgia but spent more than 10 years in New York City. While in the nation’s #1 media market, he worked for The Wall Street Journal Radio Network, Spectrum News NY1 and WCBS Newsradio 880. A highlight of Matt’s career has been reporting regularly from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
Also a professional actor and singer, he has performed on musical theatre stages across the country. Matt studied journalism at Gainesville State College and acting at New York’s prestigious HB Studio.
