About Marcelo
Marcelo Cardenal is the Founder of CarePath Financial LLC, where he helps individuals, families, and business owners prepare for the financial realities of aging. His work focuses on long-term care planning, retirement income, asset protection, legacy coordination, and strategies that make aging in place safer, more achievable, and financially sustainable.
With more than two decades of experience in financial and insurance advisory services, Marcelo helps clients integrate long-term care planning into broader retirement strategies designed to protect assets, preserve income, and prepare for future healthcare and caregiving needs.
His planning philosophy is straightforward: aging in place is not simply a housing decision—it is also a financial one. Preparing for future care before a health event or family crisis occurs gives individuals and families more choices, greater financial flexibility, and increased confidence in the years ahead.
Marcelo serves clients throughout South Florida and works with families across the country through structured remote planning engagements. He maintains a professional relationship with Acosta Insurance Group.
