Kevin O’Laughlin, CFP®, CFS, is a Financial Advisor at GEN Financial Management, Inc. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) professional with 15 years of experience Kevin enjoys helping individuals and families navigate financial planning and investment needs on the path to their goals.

A past board member of the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota (FPA), Kevin remains an active volunteer for the association’s public relations efforts. A sought-after expert in Financial Planning and Investment Management, Kevin has appeared in numerous publications, including Wall Street Journal – MarketWatch, Minneapolis Star Tribune, KARE-11 TV, Esquire Magazine, Minnesota Parent, and Minneapolis Southwest Journal. 

Kevin graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College, where he was a two-time All-American swimmer. He lives with his wife, Leslie, their children (Quinn 3yrs & Ryan 1yr) and the family dog (Rico). When away from the office (...and not changing a diaper) Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, playing golf, and rock climbing.
