Five Stages of Dying

According to the author Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, there are five stages of dying: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. The author believes joy can be salvaged from death, your own or that of a loved one. This “joy” is based on the premise of living fully while accepting the inevitability of death while viewing grief as an extension of love.
